These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and TempleForge ("TempleForge," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the TempleForge mobile application and related services (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

You must be at least 16 years old (or older, if required by the laws of your country or region) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are able to form a binding contract.
You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service.
The App offers an optional TempleForge Pro membership and related purchases sold through the Apple App Store:
Auto-renewal. Auto-renewable subscriptions automatically renew for the same period at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel a subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your Apple ID settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device) after purchase. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Prices. Current prices are displayed in the App at the point of purchase and may vary by region and over time. We may change prices prospectively; changes do not affect an already-purchased period.
Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service; we generally cannot grant refunds directly.
Apple's standard auto-renewing subscription terms and the App Store Terms of Service also apply to your purchases.
TempleForge includes social features and user-generated content ("User Content"), including posts, comments, profiles, programs, reviews, challenges, and training groups.
You agree not to create, upload, post, or transmit any User Content that is unlawful, harassing, bullying, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, infringing, deceptive (including impersonation), spam, or otherwise objectionable. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Violations may result in immediate content removal and account suspension or termination.
We provide tools to report objectionable content and to block abusive users. We review reports and act on them, typically within 24 hours, and may remove content, issue warnings, suspend, or permanently ban accounts at our discretion. We also use automated text screening and on-device image screening as described in our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. By using the App you agree to abide by our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms.
You keep ownership of your User Content. By creating or posting User Content, you grant TempleForge a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, publicly perform, publicly display, and distribute your User Content — and to use your username, display name, profile photo, and activity and program content — in any media or channels now known or later developed, without compensation to you.
This license is for the purposes of operating, providing, improving, developing, and promoting, marketing, and advertising the App and its features — including to develop, train, test, and improve our features, models, and technologies (such as machine learning and artificial intelligence systems) — for example, to show your posts to other users according to your privacy settings, or to feature a program or post you shared in promotional or marketing materials.
For User Content you have shared publicly or with other users, or that others have copied or re-shared through the App's features, this license continues even after you delete the content or your account, to the extent needed to support those features. We also keep copies as needed for backups, safety, and legal compliance. Otherwise, the license ends when you delete the User Content or your account.
We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, remove, or restrict any User Content or account at our discretion, including content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful to users or the service.
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the App, you agree that we may use them freely — for any purpose, without restriction or compensation to you — and you grant us all rights necessary to do so.
TempleForge provides fitness tracking and informational features only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Strength training and exercise carry inherent risks. Consult a qualified physician before beginning any exercise program, and stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain, discomfort, or symptoms. You are solely responsible for exercising safely and within your abilities. You use the App and any training information at your own risk.
The App, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software (excluding User Content), is owned by TempleForge or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding except as necessary to use the App.
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law; (b) interfere with or disrupt the App or its security; (c) access the App through automated means or scrape data; (d) misrepresent your identity or affiliation; (e) use the App to violate any law or third-party rights; or (f) circumvent moderation, safety, or access controls.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEMPLEFORGE AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TempleForge from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the App, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, including for violation of these Terms or our Community Guidelines. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content licenses for already-shared content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
These Terms are between you and TempleForge only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. To the extent applicable:
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
